4 Star Review "Limited Editon" Platinum?! Seriously, give me a break. . .

Strengths:

Plays all Nintendo's current generation 1st party titles, four controller ports, compact size, minimal load times, budget price

Weaknesses:

Lack of third party software support, nearly nonexistant online support, "kiddie" image, newer models lack progressive scan, "limited edition" in name only

Posted Mar 2, 2006 - Nintendo gave it the old college try during the 128-bit hardware generation. Releasing a year after the PS2, the Gamecube featured more advanced graphics and processing capabilities and all of Nintendo's exclusive first party games, but the system had a few problems as well. Given the PS2's one year headstart and huge installed user base, the Gamecube never really had a chance at winning the latest console sales war, and while Nintendo's excellent first party games delivered, many third party publishers decided not to bring their games to the Gamecube. see more

It´s easy to use, it´s small and portable. Snap on a small screen, and the kids in the back seat can play the game. The GameCube comes along easily, plugging in to any TV set. The games on Nintendo systems are geared towards the younger set. As m see more
