Innovative, beautiful game

Strengths: Realistic graphics, new gameplay as the wolf, interesting story

Weakness: Could have had some character voices

The graphics are more realistic than any other zelda. The story is very interesting and involves zelda being captured by dark creatures in a world where link exists as a wolf. You also have a mysterious dark creature who helps you. The wolf character has some neat attacks and abilities like seeing ghosts and digging for treasures. In addition, link can ride a horse and jump over obstacles. One...

Zelda Twilight Princess

Strengths: Gameplay, level design, graphics, controls, variety of weapons, puzzles, enemies

Weakness: may be a little too long for some

WOW!!! That is my reaction to Zelda: Twilight Princess. I have never played a Zelda game before and tried this game solely on its hype. I got to say it well meets its expectation. The game is simply a work or art, a masterpiece. The graphics, the level design, and all the details just blew me away. This is a must play adventure for all gamers. Some casual gamer may be become overwhelm by the...

Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess

Strengths: The last, great, Gamecube game

Weakness: No widescreen in GC version (only in the Wii version)

Nintendo really saved the best for last for the aging Gamecube console. If you don't have a Wii or don't plan on getting one for a while this is a must buy purchase for your Gamecube as it may very well be the best game for the system. In this adventure, Nintendo goes back to a more realistic style of graphics after the cartoony Wind Waker. The results are impressive. The game plays and controls...

Best Zelda ever

Strengths: Great game, great story, great character development, fun

Weakness: none

What an excellent game. If there is any game to own for the gamecube, this is one of them. Classic zelda on a huge scale. Many dungeons, tons of chests to find, tons to do. Game of the Year 2006. Buy this one.

The Last Master Piece of the GameCube Games?

Strengths: Great graphics; music and story

Weakness: Lacks of widescreen mode; character walks slowly

Since I still can not get a Wii, I went ahead getting a gamecube copy without realizing that it does not support the widescreen mode. Great graphics (even for the cube!) and music as usual. A very nice RPG game and I recommend every gamecube/wii owner should play this game. The gameplay was carefully designed and no tools are dispensable.

No Wii? No Problem

Strengths: Same great Zelda gameplay. Responsive sword controls. Camera control. Lengthy game.

Weakness: Some textures look a little muddy. Wind Waker's stylized art direction made more of an impression. Old-fashioned controls are a pro or con depending on your preferences.

Twilight Princess is yet another lengthy Zelda adventure filled with exploration and puzzles. With a darker look and more dungeons than Wind Waker, this is a return to the formula established with Ocarina of Time. I was initially waiting to play this on a Wii but the console is still hard to find in many places. Well, not to worry; if you need something to play, the Gamecube version of Twilight...

Zelda: Twilight Princess

Strengths: Great graphics, excellent story

Weakness: N/A

Like other games in the Zelda series, Twilight Princess is an excellent game. There's good combination of hack and slash, puzzles, and wandering combined with the usual assortment of items to help you on your way. The graphics are great for the game cube, and while others complain of the lack of character voices, I rather prefer to let my imagination fill in that spot as opposed to running the...

Great Zelda game

Strengths: This quest is quite long, variety of puzzles

Weakness: Combat is easy, almost an afterthought, and the game drags on at some points where puzzles may take a very long time.

Overall this is a very solid game building upon the gameplay found in the previous Zelda games like Ocarina of Time and Windwaker. The biggest change is the ability to play as a wolf with some different moves and abilities. The game itself is quite long, much longer than previous Zelda games. There are many areas to explore, but some of this does drag on at times as you spend hours searching for...

Epic GameCube title

Zelda: Twilight Princess became one of the best GameCube games upon its release, a few weeks following the Wii game. Please see my review of the Wii version for general game info. Other than more of the same, the lack of motion control in this version does not hurt it, but if you have a Wii, I recommend getting that version. Aiming your bow and arrow with a pointer instead of analog sticks is...

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC)

Strengths: (1) One of the best Zelda games yet, highly replayable (2) Gamecube version gives you more control over camera/viewpoint than Wii version

Weakness: (1) Does not support Widescreen mode, which the Wii version does (2) Story can seem disjointed as times as minor events are not fully explained or rationalized

Having played both the Wii and Gamecube versions of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, I can say without hesitation that this is an excellent game. I really liked having more camera/viewpoint control on the Gamecube version, however, the Wii version wins overall due to the enhanced aiming controls and Widescreen support. Twilight Princess is the largest Zelda adventure yet, offering nine...
