Software Name: Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut
Upgrade Information: Not Applicable
Software Main Type: Game
Strengths: Has a new mission mode and you cant forget the mini-games that you earn when you get emblems.
Weakness: It might have a new mission mode but thats preety much all.
Overall I wish I never would have bought this game.It doesn't have very much too do and after you have already beaten it with one character it gets preety boring. I would not recomend this game but if you want to buy a Sonic game you should get Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
Strengths: Its a good game, but its very dated. I felt like I was playing the origonal side scrolling sonic, then after a few hours, I really wish i was playing it, and not a re-hash of the dreamcast game.
Weakness: The graphics suck, really suck. The 3D enviorment is not handeled right, it feels like your a mouse running on a globe.
You play one of six characters, each does his or her own thing, well sort of. The levels pretty much are the same for each character, but the characters are pretty different. This is only for hardcore sonic fans ,its not worth the money now anyways come on it was released on dreamcast and should have stayed there and not on the Game Cube not much to do after you beat the game either.
Strengths: Great Graphics and Gameplay! New mission mode is aswsome! I also like the mini-games.
Weakness: There were no weaknesses!
In conclusion, its a great game for hardcore sonic fans. I like the new mission mode and mini-games. It is a great game. I would recommend this game, especially to sonic fans.
Strengths: Port of first 3D Sonic game, still holds up well. The "speedy" classic Sonic parts are great fun.
Weakness: Graphics a bit dated, "adventure" portions tiresome
Sonic Adventure DX is a port of the first 3D Sonic game created for the Sega Dreamcast console. Some minor tweaks have been applied for the Gamecube version, but it is basically the same game that came out in 1999. While the graphics are somewhat dated compared to newer games, the basic core play, at least during the fast parts, is enjoyable. And really, given how old the original title is, the...
Strengths: Old school Sonic platform fun
Weakness: May be too much of a retread for some
If you kids liked the earlier games in the Sonic series, this one won't disappoint either. Therein lies its greatest weakness---I think it does little to improve upon or expand the franchise. Same wacky colorful graphics, same "run and grab stuff" gameplay. Still well-executed.
Strengths: sonic
Weakness: camera, most of the other characters
This game is nothing but a shallow port of a dreamcast launch of the same title sans "Director's cut" part. It is DX because it includes a couple of unlockable Game Gear game. If you have a dreamcast, play the better DC version. If you don't only buy for less than $10.
Strengths: Very fast and easy to get into, many different characters with own storyline. Also has unlockable gamegear games to play.
Weakness: Extremely buggy, too easy, over too quick.
Sonic Adventure is a very exciting game with many different modes of play. The adventure mode where you'll spend most of your time is the meat of the game. Sonic (or 5 other characters) flies through each level trying to accomplish the objective that the game supplies. Unfortunately, this is ruined by several bugs, like falling through the floor, bad camera, and getting stuck on things. What...
Strengths: Graphics, Mini Games, 6 Playable Characters
Weakness: Rehash of Dreamcast Game, Kind of Easy
Sonic Adventure DX — Director's Cut GameCube is a fun game for those who want to re-experience the nostalgia of playing the game on the Dreamcast or for younger video gamer's which have never had an opportunity to experience the Sega classic character. The game does a really good job of giving the perception of speed in the various action sequences. There are also six different playable...
Strengths: Excellent 3-D Sonic game.
Weakness: It's an older game, a few missions are boring.
Back when the Dreamcast first came out this Sonic Adventure was one of the main reasons to buy one. Now the GC has gotten Sonic Adventure DX which adds a few more extras that the Dreamcast version did not have such as slightly improved graphics among a few other enhancements. The only problem I ever had with this game is that some of the characters' missions seem boring. The Sonic missions are...

Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut
Strengths: It has some of the best graphics I have ever seen. There are different story modes. It is easy to understand the controls for this game.
I really enjoy playing this game. It is action filled and really fast. Also there is no glitches during the game. I thought it was very easy to play. The difficulty is placed at a very moderate level. There are many levels to conquer and many people to see. So you can play this game a lot and not get bored of it.
