Strengths: Great looking for a Gamecube game - plenty of platforming action to be found
Weakness: Darker, grittier story and main character takes away some of the charm of Prince of Persia
This follow-up to the classic Prince of Persia Sands of Time is a decent enough adventure but doesn't quote reach the heights of the original. It is a darker, grittier games in which they changed up the main character to give him more attitude. Basically, this was a bad idea. The core gameplay is much like Sands of Time, though, with wall-running, swinging off bars, jumping across chasms, etc....
Strengths: -Improved fighting system over first game -Excellent platforming
Weakness: -Characters and story are not up to par -Tries too hard to be edgy
This game is part two of a trilogy. I played and enjoyed the other two games, Sands of Time and The Two Thrones, but avoided this title because I had heard it was the black sheep. However, now that I've played it I'm glad I didn't pass it up. --The fighting system in this game is like the one in Two Thrones, much improved over the original game. Rather than being clunky and frustrating it's fun...
Strengths: Fun action/adventure romp
Weakness: Darker in tone than the first
The new Prince of Persia series on consoles is the quintessential action-adventure game - a good combination of platforming, puzzle-solving, and combat. You are in control of a character who can run along walls, swing off bars, and perform other acrobatic feats, with a few special powers (ie, slowing time) thrown into the mix. Much of this is like the first game (Sands of Time). The newer aspects...
Strengths: Nice graphical upgrade, expanded combat system,
Weakness: Darker in tone that the first game
Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within is the sequel to PoP: Sands of Time, set a few years after the first game, with a great storyline behind it. It's a bit darker in tone than the first game, which might alienate some fans of the first game. The graphics are upgraded nicely, giving it a better look. The combat system is significantly upgraded and expanded, with a more free-form system. Platform fans...
Strengths: excellent graphics
A decent sequel to Prince of Persia Sands of Time. It has an improved combat scheme. It has a free form fighting system allowing you to interact with the environments and create your own fighting style. It is much darker than Sand of Time.
Strengths: Solid gameplay, nice weapon additions and the overall 'darker' feel to the current Prince Of Persia series.
Weakness: For a 'darker' looking title, it still looks a bit cartoonish at times.
The original Prince Of Persia (referred to hereafter as "PoP") for the GCN, XBox and PS2 had players exploring and solving many physical puzzles with the acrobatic Prince. From the snide and humorous remarks, to the action packed gameplay, "PoP: Sands Of Time" stood out as a solid title. With this sequel, "PoP: Warrior Within" takes place a fews years after the end of the original "PoP:SoT" game...
Strengths: Builds on strengths of Sands of Time and is respectably long
Weakness: Too violent, some graphics glitches
This sequel to "Sands of Time" improves upon the original in most areas though takes a step back in a few key areas. The Prince still has great moves (plus a few new ones), and now the story is longer making the game a better value. It also incorporates a new time travel angle allow players to visit locations in two different time periods, which is an evolution of the first game's time theme....
Strengths: Gameplay is solid, great graphics.
Weakness: Some combat can get repetitive
This is proabably one of the best action-adventure games on the Gamecube. The graphics are incredibly nice, and the gameplay of this game is quite good and functional. It works pretty well with the Gamecube controller. The length of the game is neither too short or too long, just enough to be a satisfying experience. The combat can get repetitive at times as all action games can, but this one...
Strengths: Music Story Line Great Sequel BIG IMPROVEMENT FROM PREVIOUS Fighting Style Rules
Weakness: Couple of glitches
Wonderful game. Glad I bought it to complete the story. I think this is a must get game for any console. But try playing the first part before going to the next.

A worthy sequel
Strengths: Great Graphics. Nice combat system. Fun.
Weakness: Seems like an upgrade to the first game. A bit too dark. Some glitches in the game.
This game like its prequel is highly enjoyable and very innovative. It offers a great mixture of platforming, combat and puzzle solving that will keep players entertained for a long time. Its not a huge evolutionary leap over the original, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. The developers obviously didn't want to fix what was not broken. This game is a nice upgrade to the previous one. If you...
