Classic Metroid action! You've gotta love SAMUS IN ACTION
Still a little clunky in terms of story line.
Posted May 13, 2004 - Outstanding video/audio action game for GBA/GBSP. Lots of variation in the price and availability, so use PriceGrabber or look for a local sale at Target or BestBuy. Must consider getting the Nintendo Guide (yeah, another $20) to get the most action/enjoyment. The codes and help are worth the price. This game will be a long-time player for the SP, I have no doubt. We enjoyed a borrowed copy enough to want one NOW -- fortunately this website had a good price listed....

Play control is 100x better than the original. The story is more involved. The game is longer. The extended storyline explains a lot of Samus' history before Metroid Prime.
The game was quite short. Save points do not recharge your power. It is therefore feasible that you may accidently save with very little power left and get stuck in a hard area.

The enhanced graphics, sound, and play control make this game a joy for people who have completed the original Metroid, or people who are new to the series. Zero Mission's story line fills in a lot of blanks about Samus' history for players who may only be familiar with Metroid Prime. This game is excellent! I coudln't put it down once I started playing. This leads me to my chief complaint: despite adding new areas not in the original Metroid, the game can be completed in 10-15 see more
