4 Star Review Nintendo DS Lite Crimson & Black, redesigned from original DS

Strengths:

Lighter, games for all genders, good battery life.

Weaknesses:

Screen is small compare to PSP, games are not as 3D as PSP, no TV out.

Posted Jan 3, 2008 - The redesigned DS lite is really lighter than the original DS, by a lot. I don't feel hurt even after playing for hours. Also thanks to the long battery life, I can enjoy the games uninterrupted. High quality screen with 4 levels of brightness adjustment. Excellent for both indoor and outdoor usage. Comparing with PSP, the DS lite misses the TV out, which is sometimes useful if you want to share the view with friends. Also the games are not as 3D professional looking as PSP offers.

5 Star Review Nintendo DS Lite

Strengths:

Great color - different - the distinction in color definitely helps when you have more than one DS in the home. Stylish flair for the business traveler.

Weaknesses:

none

Posted Jan 1, 2008 - I would definitely purchase this item again. I would recommend a protective cover for carrying and protection of system and extra games. Good resolution and sound. Good battery life. Be careful....it is a bit addictive.
