Description
In the Sinnoh region, there are two Pokemon that symbolize the region. They appear in the Sinnoh reigon's myths and old folklore. One is called Dialga, and is said to have the power to control time. The other is called Palkia, who is said to have the ability to distort space. The sinister organization called Team Galaxy is trying to rule the region by utilizing these two Pokemon's power. During your adventure to complete your Pokedex and become the Champion, these two Pokemon, and Team Galaxy, will intertwine into the story and lead you on a fantastic journey across the Sinnoh region.

Strengths: Game is colorful and has good 3D graphics. Storyline is well rounded.

Great addition for Pokemon fans. You have the ability to battle and trade pokemon over the internet. There are more than 100 new pokemon to collect. You can use the stylus to select menus during battle which is convenient. Most of all I like the online play which lets you chat and battle as well on the Internet. A fun game overall.
Strengths: Keeps with the traditional Pokemon games
Weakness: Not enough DS support
Pokemon Pearl plays just as it would be a gameboy advance game. I'm in so far for about 5 hours. It's simple to pick up and play and I would recommend for all to play. I like the ability for the using the DS during battle but that is really all the DS supports. I wish it would use more functionallity like Animal Crossing when you are walking.
Strengths: Very cool and interesting graphics, the wifis feature enables you to trade pokemon worldwide, had a lot of new features that were very fun and creative like creating poffins for example
Weakness: Not enough fire Pokemon, certain pokemon can only be caught at certain times of the day, cannot trade Pokemon caught from other Pokemon games.
Overall I rate this game a 4 star because ,though it is highly enjoyable ,I was able to beat the game pretty easily. The Pokemon diamond game was much more challenging.
Strengths: awesome game
Weakness: there is no weaknesses
i reaally like pokemon and if u do 2 u should get this game because i bet it will be awesome well yeah i mean this is a all new pokemon it doesnt get better than this
Strengths: As fun and addictive as ever.
Weakness: Pokemon from GBA games cannot be imported until after you beat the Elite 4. Slow pace.
Pokemon Pearl represents the best that Pokemon has to offer. Lots of new Pokemon, nifty retro-graphics, plenty of post-game activities, and more make this a great value. The implementation of trading and battling over the Internet is superb, and there are so many things to do (that have nothing to do with the main quest) that there's something for everyone here. The main gameplay is still as fun...
Strengths: Great gameplay, graphics, and sounds. This unique system of gathering pokemon, training them, and doing lots of other stuufs are fun. Trading and battling online is great also.
Weakness: This can get repetitive and thus sort of boring the longer you play.
This is just like any other pokemon games. Basically, the same systems, but with more stuffs added like new pokemons and new items. Playing this game with your friends can be interesting, and will motivate you to master the game with extremely strong pokemons so you can beat your friend. I recommend people who likes pokemon game to play this game. It is as good as any others. You will experience...
Strengths: Wi-fi play, plot
Weakness: None
I LOVE this game!!! This game is wonderful. It has great play on wi-fi, and is a great way to stop yourself from doing nothing but twiddling your thumbs! You are a teenage boy (or girl) who comes to a lake with their friend in search of a rare Pokemon, but they meet a Pokemon professor who gives them both new Pokemon, after returning to the Sinnoh region, where the story takes place. Once the...
Strengths: Traditonal Pokemon game, NEW Online WiFi capabilities. A must-have for any Pokemon fan
Weakness: Same old stuff, a few little things that make it different than previous versions, but its essentially the same game with a different map.
If you are a Pokemon fan, you must buy this game (or Pokemon Diamond). This game revolutionized the world of Pokemon with the addition of ONLINE BATTLING & TRADING. Absolutely amazing. Fun gameplay with a bunch of little side quests, and LOTS of pokemon to catch- new and old. Again, if you liked the previous versions of Pokemon games, you will not be disappointed with this one.
Strengths: Good story, plenty of things to do, lotsa new pokemon
Weakness: Can get repetative, weak graphics
The newest installment of the popular Pokemon franchise for the Nintendo DS is Pokemon Pearl and Diamond. They're mostly identical, but contain slightly different rosters of available pokemon. If you've ever played one of these games before, then you're already familar with the general idea. You're a trainer setting out to see the world and learn more about pokemon. You catch them in your travels...
The first games of the so-called 4th Generation" of Pokemon titles, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl moves the best-selling RPG series onto the Nintendo DS handheld. Staying with the formula that has brought them success so far, Gamefreak takes advantage of the DSs new features and abilities, adding touch screen support, more advanced 3D graphics, wireless and online multiplayer. Of course, all of these...

Nintendo has finally brought a true Pokemon title to the DS handheld and boy does it deliver. I am positive that there needs to be no introduction for this landmark franchise. Without further ado, let’s jump straight into the review. Pokemon Pearl takes place in a brand new region named Sinnoh. As expected, Sinnoh has nearly all the terrain types to adventure through and find rare Pokemon....

Pokémon Pearl... 493 Pokemon may be a bit much...
Strengths: Fun to play, Sprites are fairly detailed compared to older titles, Online capabilities
Weakness: Repetitive, Need GBA Games to catch some older generation pokemon, Pokémon voices are still just beeping sounds (especially older generation ones)
I skipped over the GBA generation of Pokémon games, so I hadn't played anything newer than Silver. I was happy to see that Pokémon games have advanced quite a bit since then. Pokémon Pearl adds a bit more detail than previous Pokemon games. It remembers what kind of pokéball you catch a pokémon in and is displayed when used in battle. Pokémon move around a bit more in battle and are a bit...
