God Hand

Strengths:

Beat-em-up, humor and jokes

Weaknesses:

Repetitive, difficult

Posted 1 year ago - God Hand is a decent beat-em-up game but it's not for everyone though. It is shallow and repetitive since the goal is to beat everyone in your path. The games has some humor and jokes in an attempt to add some dynamics to the game. Otherwise, it's highly repetitive. It's also not an easy game to play. Therefore, pick it up if you like the genre.

Great game if you can look past some stuff

Strengths:

lots of combos/fighting moves, good animation

Weaknesses:

levels are plain, weird/wacky character designs

Posted Jan 26, 2008 - God Hand's combat system is the main attraction so if you're looking for a good beat'em with some depth then go ahead and buy this game. You get a ton of moves/combos and they're all really exciting to watch. Actually this could be one of those games where it's probably more fun watching than playing. If you're looking for a total experience in gaming then God Hand won't hold up. The story is kind of like a 70s Kung Fu movie. The villians are very similar to the old beat'em up classics - bad dressers with mohawks. The levels/environments aren't very detailed. see more
