NASCAR 2006: Total Team Control (PS2)
Strengths:
Pro's: Graphics are amazing. The sound is incredible. A huge step up from the previous versions. It seems like the driving has a more realistic feel. In the previous versions it felt like you were driving on ic see more
Weaknesses:
They made such a huge effort to enhance the realism in other areas of the game, and then they go and remove the most realistic part.
Posted Sep 14, 2005 - No one cares about fantasy drivers. Things need to be added such as better damage models, when you get hit, the other drivers don't get mad, changing weather such as windy, cloudy, rain delays, red flags, going to the garage after a bad wreck and then returning with part of your car cut off, doing your own pit road driving, more realistic wrecks, and something i think no one else mentioned, driver health

Posted Aug 31, 2006 - This is definitely the most fun racing game I have ever played. Sure games like GT4 put all of their effort into creating realism (the most accurate graphics and car simulations), but that doesn't necessarily make a game fun. In NASCAR 06, you race around and actually have to plan things out and utilize your teammates. A crash can nearly (or completely) put you out of a race if you're not careful, so you need to be patient and thorough. Utilizing racing techniques, pit strategies, and teammates to block or lead for you helps to not only win a race, but also set yo see more
