Posted Apr 18, 2005 - The story of Gordon Freeman and the Black Mesa facility are told in Half-Life. It's a port of the PC game onto the PS2, with some graphical improvements. Gordon Freeman is the everyman scientist who must fight against an invading alien horde, among other hazards in Black Mesa. The narrative and story are amazingly well done, with plenty of action and puzzles along the way. Compared to other titles, the graphics engine is a bit dated, though a nice improvement from the PC game. FPS fans should own this without question.

Posted Apr 30, 2005 - This game is almost perfect! I say 'almost' because if I had a keyboard and mouse, it would be, but I don't. The single player game is very long and keeps you coming back for more. With a good amount of weapons to choose from and fairly easy puzzles to figure out, it runs along smoothly. In addition to the main game. A co-op version was included. It is about twelve levels long, with you and a friend working together to fight back against the evil alien onslaught.
