Fantastic Graphics, Tons of different racing modes. Damage looks realistic as you go and effects the car.

Posted Sep 19, 2007 - I'm not much for racing games, but I have to say that I'm glad I bought DiRT. First off, it's a rally racing game which means you're racing against the clock and not cars. However, there are four or five different types of racing modes (a couple of which pits you against other cars) so it doesn't get boring. On Rookie Mode, the game helps you get the hang of things. You can then bump up the difficulty on races to retry them to earn more money (for purchasing new cars and to repair vehicles). There's plenty of challenge to be had because this game can get see more

Posted Nov 28, 2007 - Let me just explain this for a moment, Colin McRae has nothing to do with this game except provide the name to the game. If he were involved, I guarantee you that this game would never have been released. Dirt lives up to its name by destroying the last game based on McRae's legacy. Rallying is all about environments and the car models. You don't need GT level of simulation when the genre is arcadey in its root.
