Strengths: Fast action and good graphics
Weakness: a little bit difficult
I played almost all armored core series, among them, I think this has the best graphics. And as always it is fun to play and has lots of actions. Like other armored core series, it seems to be difficult for beginning gamers. Overall, this is a decent mech game and much much better than Bentham Crossfire.
Strengths: Gorgeous graphics, good sounds and atmosphere
Weakness: Short levels, poor online aspect
This is definately a worthwile and excellent addition to the Armored Core franchise. The game boasts excellent graphics and sound, plenty of missions, and an easier approach for those new to the series. That easier approach may alienate some AC vets, and the missions are too short. The online portion just feels tacked on. Ultimately, if you can overlook its shortcomings, you have an excellent...

“Always two there are, no more, no less: a master and an apprentice.” If Yoda’s words are true, then Armored Core 1 would be the master, and Armored Core 4 would be the apprentice. It’s strong, ambitious, and won’t go down without a fight. But as the fourth official sequel and the first next-gen offering, its status should be a little greater than Padawan Learner. Having said that, the...

Armored Core is back!
Strengths: Great graphics, wide variety of weaponry and defenses, and many missions to embark on.
Weakness: Missions are short.
This fourth part to the Armored Core series is by far the best. It is full of action and explosions, just the way I like it. The wide variety to build your schematics is great, making it almost never boring.
