5 Star Review PlayStation Portable Slim System

Strengths:

Graphics

Weaknesses:

Haven't come across any as of yet.

Posted Jan 16, 2008 - I purchase the PSP for my 9 year old son and I don't play the system. I can say my son absolutely loves it and would play is 24/7 if I allowed him. He said the graphics are really good and when asked if would rather have a DS he replied "mom, come on; the PSP is better".

4 Star Review Pretty Good

Strengths:

Video Out, lighter, LCD brighter, game load faster

Weaknesses:

UMD tray looks cheap. not as the same quality as PSP 1000.

Posted Dec 16, 2007 - The unit itself is very well-designed and comfortable to use. compared to PSP 1000, it is ligher, thinner. There are some other improvement like, faster game load and brighter LCD. But to cut the cost, SONY simplied the UMD tray. You can definitely feel that the quality of slim edition is not as good as PSP 1000. In summary, for $169, it is a good buy.
