Additional Specifications
Software Name: Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
Software Main Type: Game
Strengths: Excellent use of Wii control Addictive adventure Weapons variety Hilarious voice acting (if you know Spanish) Graphics
Weakness: Drab environments Unidimensional nature of shotting
I never played the Gamecube version of the game but I must say that it really lends itself to the Wii controls in terms of the added precision to blow those zombies off at will. The graphics are very well made and nowhere does the game loose its appearance of reality. My only gripe here is the drabness and lack of color of it all. I understand the developers tried to convey an atmosphere of...
Strengths: Great storyline, widescreen, unlockable games, fantastic controls.
Weakness: Version is starting to show its age.
Those of you who have this title for the Gamecube know how great it is for that system. The Wii version is all that and incorporates everything from the PS2 version and of course incorporates the great controls of the Wii remote and nunchuck. Those new to this gaming platform, don't hesitate to add this title to your library. Even though Resident Evil 4 is starting to show its age compared to...
Strengths: Wii remote, graphics and of course the gameplay!
Weakness: None!!!! :)
Me and my friends loved Resident Evil 4 more than we ever thought possible. When some of my friends first complained about how some reviews put this game in a bad light, I thought I was making a mistake buying this. But as I played this game, I thought the controls were just perfect, better than any game I have played! Just aim the Wii remote at the enemy and pull the trigger to shoot/kill. It's...
Strengths: Wiimote features
Weakness: Same RE4
Resident Evil 4 will ALWAYS be a classic. That being said, it has already been played before... but it still rocks. The wiimote features make it pretty damn cool though! Defintely recommended!
Strengths: New way of gameplay. More interactive. Decent graphics.
Weakness: Should have been more new features. Not many new surprises from Gamecube version.
Decent game, but I wouldn't pay full price for this. I believe the regular Gamecube and Playstation 2 version are both $20 (being that it's a player's choice game now). Not much new, other than a cool new way to play with the Wii controller. Graphics are alright. I suppose this is a game to get your teeth wet until the new upcoming RE game comes out for the Wii. I say rent RE4 for the wii or buy...
Strengths: good graphics
Weakness: need more action
resident evil 4 wii edition is a good game, the graphics are pretty good. There are lots of good shooting graphics and options. I would recommend this game, especially for older teens. The price was fair.
Strengths: fast paced,great graphics
Weakness: this game could have another level.
This is my son's favorite game. He has 9 now so that means something. He is 13. He will play this for hours. I don't play but I get a minute by minute update from him. He gets so excited. He likes the fact that he gets to play hero and save the girl.
Strengths: The best game of the last generation, improved!
Weakness: None?
Resident Evil 4 will be remembered as one of the finer games ever released. Originally available on the GameCube, it was ported to the PS2 with additional modes. Now on the Wii, the best of the GameCube version (graphics) and the PS2 version (extras) have been combined into the definitive version with one additional enhancement - controls. The aiming via pointing is a fantastic improvement over...
Strengths: Intuitive and imaginative control scheme, Intense action, Lots of bonuses and extras, Bargain price
Weakness: Inane plotting, occasionally tedious gameplay
Having never played this game when it was released for Gamecube or PS2, I was very much looking forward to trying it on the Wii. After playing through the main game and most of the bonus missions, I can say its status as one of the best action games yet made is well deserved. That said, anyone who has picked up a Wii for casual gaming is likely to find RE4 tedious and frustrating. This is a game...

Resident Evil 4 is back. For the 4th time. Originally released on the GameCube, then ported to the PlayStation 2 and PC, the question that most Wii owners will be asking themselves is not “Should I buy Resident Evil 4?” but “Why should I buy Resident Evil 4 again?” Read on for a brief overview of the game’s predecessors, so that newcomers can appreciate just how groundbreaking Resident...

Evil's New Face
Strengths: Over-the-shoulder perspective, fun gameplay, nice graphics (for the time), and sound. Wiimote aiming.
Weakness: Graphics might turn some people off that are picky about such things. Sound is Dolby Pro Logic only, and not true surround sound.
This is the version of Resident Evil 4 to own. This version benefits from the Gamecube's better visuals while containing the Playstation 2's extra content. The Wii Edition also supports widescreen, which previously only the Playstation 2 version supported. The wiimote makes aiming weapons much easier than using analog sticks, but for those that still prefer standard controls, the Classic...
