Great game with and original cast of characters

Strengths: Interesting story and characters, great gameplay.

Weakness: The overworld graphics.

No More Heroes is a very entertaining title for the Wii with a great cast of characters and story. The use of the Wii motion controls works well in battles and brings a lot of originality to the game. The overworld between missions is a little plain and boring but once you are in the battles, you forgot about those little annoyances. This is an M rated game and the content does really justify...

Blast to play

Strengths: Great humor, soid use of wii controls, constantly engaging

Weakness: driving can be a hassle

I bought Killer 7 and really wanted to like it. But after about 30 minutes of playing, I couldn't get into the game. If you were turned off by Killer 7 and reluctant to try NMH, this game is immediately fun to play, no wandering around wondering what is going on and waiting for something cool to happen. I particularly enjoy the swordfighting, as it makes solid use of the wiimote. The art...

Interesting cross of genres

Strengths: Great style, unlike anything else on the Wii, good gameplay

Weakness: Maybe a bit too much flash at times, sometimes it's a bit inconsistent

No More Heroes is a game that definitely pushes what you'd expect to find on the Wii. It brings a GTA-style open world to the system, although with a twist. It brings a lot of style, a bit of humor, and lots of stylized blood to the Wii. (definitely note the game's M rating). It's a very different experience and one of the best third party uses of the Wii system (remote, pushing the hardware,...

No More

Strengths: Good use of the wiimote. Great dialog and characters. Fun combat.

Weakness: A little short. The game world is mediocre.

No More Heroes has great character, whit, and style that borders on the just plain loopy. The cobat is fast and furious with the wiimote. It's a truly great action game. On teh downside, the game world to get from point a to b to advance the story is mediocure at best and terrible at worst. But as a solid action game, it's a must own for the Wii.

No More Heroes

Strengths: good gameplay, good story, nice art style

Weakness: a little repetitive

No More Heroes follows around a guy who is fighting assassins to 'win' over a lady. The game is a fun smash'em up type game. The character design, main hub area, and art style are all excellent. The game gets a little old after awhile but is still fun throughout.

No More Heroes

Strengths: Visceral action, great personality

Weakness: Overworld

No More Heroes is the best action game on the Wii. Motion controls are implemented perfectly, the story is crazy but just zany enough to keep you interested - you'll find it difficult to stop playing. A few niggling issues aside (boring side jobs that aren't necessary to do more than once, bland overworld, rough bike controls), NMH is a great choice for anyone looking for something to splash...

Solid entertainment

Strengths: Unique, humorous, decent controls

Weakness: Some repetition, a shorter game

I really enjoy No More Heroes. It has some good humor, the control scheme works, and there's enough variation to keep you playing. You'll be able to find and buy different clothes, weapon upgrades, training, and videos to change Travis (the main character). On the downside, a good portion of the game involves you walking/running/riding a motorcycle/scooter around the city. You'll also be doing...

over the top action

Strengths: a full fledged action wii game, great use of wiimote, great graphics, funny dialogue/plot

Weakness: the world isnt very interesting, time between missions are boring

No More Heroes is the latest game from Suda51, the man behind the very confused but awesome Killer 7. No More Heroes is much easier to understand with its simplistic plot, and the dialogue is funny at times. This is a straight beat em up game that has good use of the Wiimote, and one of the few games on the Wii that isn't just a casual or minigame collection. Any hardcore Wii gamer shouldn't...

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE

Strengths: Its sword fighting and quirky story

Weakness: Bosses are crazy hard

No More Heroes it's also one of the most violent games. There is nothing like killing a quirky boss with lightsaber. The story is only thing that kept me going through boss after boss. The fighting mechanic is strange after Travis defeats an enemy he has a random chance of getting a power up which can be great at but annoying at times.

Finally, a great 3rd party ORIGINAL Wii title!

Strengths: Great use of Wiimote, great art style, vicious sense of humor, satisfying action.

Weakness: Not the deepest game in the world, a bit on the short and easy side.

If you've been waiting for a great original third-party game for the Wii, you don't have to look any more, No More Heroes has arrived. With its cell-shaded visuals, vicious sense of humor and gratifying hack-n-slash gameplay (thanks largely to the use of the Wiimote...it works GREAT here), there haven't been that many Wii games to date that really have and deserve their M rating. That really...

No More Heroes

If you own a big enough shovel, you could conceivably plough through all of the mini-game collections and PS2 ports on the Wii - chances are you’ll come up with about two or three games worth your time. To kick off the new year, a year hopefully of higher quality Wii games, Grasshopper Studios has released No More Heroes - a quirky, Tarantino-esque button masher with more style than a truckload...
