Adds a huge dimension to many Xbox 360 games
Strengths:
Reasonable price given quality of service and support for online players
Weaknesses:
Simply that it isn't a lifetime membership
Posted Apr 1, 2007 - There are a growing number of games that are really defined by the quality of their online, multiplayer component: Call of Duty 2 and 3, Gears of War, and an increasing number of sports simulations. Xbox Live makes finding players for popular Xbox 360 games a snap. Setup is surprisingly painless (compared to, say, configuring your first wireless network on a PC) and in several months of online play, we've only had one day where Xbox Live was "down". Posted Sep 21, 2007 - The Xbox 360 Live Gold 12-Month Starter Kit is a great way to introduce yourself to Microsoft's excellent Xbox 360 Live service. The service allows members to download game demos, music, movies, TV shows, gamer picks and themes and much more. Each month works out to be about $4 per month which is a great price for this service. Anyone with a Xbox 360 needs to be a Gold member of Xbox Live.
