Strengths:  that it is wireless up to 30 ft any direction.
Weaknesses:  the way it sucks up batteries. Need rechargeables
Review:  The controller it self is great but Microsoft made a big design flaw by placing the on and off control (Round X globe) right in the center where the back and start buttons are next to it. On some games it gets paused by accidentally pressing the on and off control. It sucks to interupt some games.

They are roughly the same price and offer wireless freedom, and the solid design of a first party controller. I find that the black controller has a slightly different finish, and is easier to grip, as opposed to the beige controller which can become slippery with sweaty hands.

Strengths:  Easy to find, Cheaper than Wii points
Weaknesses:  Have to scratch lightly or Card is useless
Review:  Since there is no alternative, to buy stuff like Movies, TV shows, and extra things on the X-Box marketplace you need X-Live points. Brilliant for Microsoft, kinda sucks for gamers. But since you need it, $15-20 bucks isn't that bad. You Can use the Live points on Zune Marketplace and vice-versa.
