I had been a fan of the Test Drive series since way back, but something went very wrong about 5-10 years ago with the series. It tried too hard to duplicate other racing games instead of innovate with new ideas. Enter Test Drive Unlimited, a free-roam ride around the island of Oahu. The way the game blends your arrival, exploration, and racing is great. It's like a more benign Grand Theft Auto....

wowo wowo wow where can i start.. this si a great game with some great graphics, probably the greatest graphically advanced next gen game out there. you get to drive all over hawaii doing may missions and buying tons of cars and houses and test driving a lot of other cars and racing against opponents. online play is amazing

You have a huge island in Hawaii to explore. The cars and surroundings look really good. The people look a little strange, but that's not what a driving game is about. If you go online, there are almost limitless races to compete in. A very fun and unique driving game.
