Just Cause

Strengths: Huge, open-ended world, lots of sidequests

Weakness: Some bugs, long loading times

Just Cause is a "sandbox" type game where you can roam free and do as you please, taking on side missions in addition to the 20 or so main missions. The side quests are generic and repetitive though and don't offer much in the way of rewards. The main quest missions are pretty good though. The main hook for this game is the aerial stunts. You can jump from planes and even helicopters and land on...

Grand theft latina

Strengths: Open ended world, lots of vehicles and weapons

Weakness: A little buggy and not very polished

Just Cause is a good game if you can find it for twenty bucks. Lots of missions and vehicle variety make it fun, but I haven't been compelled to finish the story line. It should hold you over till GTA 4 or Mercenaries 2.

Just Cause

Strengths: fun

Weakness: repititve and short

Just Cause is a decent grand theft auto type game. There is a massive free roaming territory for you to explore using several different means such as parachuting, driving, etc. The missions get somewhat repetitive. The gameplay is ok. Overall its a decent game but not quite up to par with Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Sandbox gaming on the 360...

Strengths: Great graphics, HUGE area to explore, powerful engine.

Weakness: A bit repetitive at times, some boring 'search' missions, camera can go 'wonky' at times.

From a technical perspective, the 360 version of Just Cause stands out for a few reasons. The game engine is very capable and manages to render the huge areas on the fly with little loading times. Everything has a nice sheen and overall, the game looks awfully good. While the in-game models look fairly average, the island of San Espirito looks alive, bustling with activity. The sheer depth of it...

Can't wait for GTA IV?

Strengths: Great environment and the music is catchy. Even though it is a GTA clone, it is varied enough in the story to differintiate itself.

Weakness: Awkwards camera controls and even though the music is fun, it can get repetitive if you do not complete your mission quick enough.

If you need a meaty yet satisfying GTA fix, this is your game. The stunts are a great addition that give it that action movie feel. In addition, this game is quite cheap at a few places, so you should definitely pick this up for the price.

Great Fun at bargain price

Strengths: Exciting elements like diving, open world adventure & cool graphics

Weakness: A bit repetitive, difficulty level inconsistent

I played the demo for this game & found it pretty good. But on getting the game, I must admit that my first impression was not that great. The game's slow pace & repetitive missions didn't help much & I got the feeling that it was more of a "lost cause". But then after putting in a few hours, I really took liking to it. The view from the sky as you dive looks amazing & the physics in game is...

GTA on a tropical island...sort of

Strengths: Plenty of action, interesting diversity of missions, whacky stunts

Weakness: requires massive suspension of disbelief and real-life physics

Whether you like your action on foot, in cars, or leaping out of airplanes, you can get it all in Just Cause. Just don't expect the kind of gritty reality that you'd find in GTA, to which this game owes a big homage. The levels are surprisingly huge, and the missions are (mostly) engaging and clever. Some of the stunts that you will execute are quite literally impossible, but as long as you dont'...

GTA + Far Cry + Total Overdose= JUST CAUSE

Strengths: Graphics are gorgeous, game play is fun. A lot of missions, guns and vehicles + grappling gun, and extraction are two very needed additions

Weakness: Aiming and killing too easy, can get a little tiresome at times doing similar missions over and over.

Game is great. If you can pick this up for under $25 it is a must have and will go platinum. Alot of fun and many hours of play. Also new ideas like the grapple and extraction are gun to just mess around with.

Just Cause (XB360)

Strengths: Graphics

Weakness: repetetive

The eye candy in this game is great but it is repetitive. The map is HUGE and that is an understatement. I would not equate this with GTA, but if you are a fan of that genre then you should give this a shot.

Good Game

Strengths: The Graphics are amazing don't listen to them. There is much to explore on the 100,000 acre land are. The stunts are great and fun to use. Nice amount of weapons to use. The story is good. Many vehicles

Weakness: The gameplay gets very repetative. The land is not very different there is only a couple things new for each place so there isnt much to see. The side missions areant that great. Glitches many but really the game would suck without them

Really this is a great game I am not being generuos. I think this game is definitely worth buying. Just Cause features a very free roaming game that is somewhat like GTA but it has some unique ways. Warning Just Cause is not realistic at all but if you like GTA you will definitely love this game I promise you that you will like it

Just Cause

Just Cause has been making headlines since the Xbox 360 version debuted at E3. One persistent, enormous (make that colossal) world, jaw-dropping graphics, and the promise of taking the Grand Theft Auto concept to new heights. Whereas other games merely cloned the GTA style, Just Cause looked like it was going to tackle the genre from a different angle. Aside from being more cinematic, the game...
