Posted Dec 29, 2007 - Mass Effect was probably one of the most anticipated games for the 360 for the fall of 2007. It was touted to be a wonderfully immersive sci-fi rpg of epic scale with jaw dropping graphics and a rewarding combat system. I'd have to say it succeeded in being a fun adventure, but fell short of its potential. The sheer scale of the game was what I was most excited about, only to find most of it caged in journal entries about the Mass Effect universe. Instead of experiencing it all first hand, I spent most of the time reading about it. I had hoped to travel see more

Posted Dec 20, 2007 - Mass Effect puts you in the middle of the most significant series of events in the galaxy in thousands of years. The choices you make, the actions you take, affect the fate of humanity - no, all life in the galaxy. At least, that's how the advertisements for the game go. And from playing the game, I'd have to agree with that assessment. It truly does feel like every major decision you make has a huge impact.
