If you're a hardcore shumup fan (shoot em up), you may appreciate this game than the casual X360 owner. It's good to see these type of games appear on a console that's largely FPS/Racing centric. Wartech Senko No Rondo is an old school shooter/fighter rolled into one game. I was a bit dissapointed as I hoped Wartech would of been more along the lines of Ikargu, Raiden, Gradius type shooters. Overall, it was ok.

Strengths: Original style flying robot shooter.
Weakness: Clunky and Hard to control robot. VERY little replay value. All robots feel the same to control. Short and repetitive.
This could of been a GREAT game to show off what the 360 can do, but was not. I have seen and played better original Xbox games... I have talked with some friends from Japan and they said the arcade version there was better. They did also say it was a must have if you are a shmup fan. If you can pick it up for less than $10 then It could be worth trying. I would not waste money on renting it.

If you're a shmup fan, then you should definitely check this game out. If you're not, then chances are you won't like this game. This game should be around $10-$20 now so it wouldn't be too costly to try out. It was an arcade game back in Japan then translated to the 360. It isn't translated too well, but like I said, if you're a shmup fan, then you'd definitely appreciate this game.

Wartech would be an okay game if it was say, and xbox live arcade game. But it's not worth $60, or $40, or even $20. I picked it up for $10 and that might be its price point. it's short, reptative, and just nnot that great a shooter for the console. I read it's anm arcade point and maybe it worked there, but I don't know how. Rent it if you need the achievments.

I remember playing this on the arcade in Japan. I recently found out it came on the 360 and bought it for $10 it is awesome. WarTech is a nice little distraction with some really good ideas but it's not a complete title. I just wish there were more characters in the game.
