1 Star Review Don't even think about it

Strengths:

None, although random character generator can be funny

Weaknesses:

Too ugly to look at, monotonous, bad AI, Horrible avatars

Posted May 30, 2006 - This is the worst XBOX game ever. The graphics are terrible, the AI is sickly and the pacing is unbearable. There are many free online poker sites that provide better poker play than WCP, which is bogged down by an attempt to make virtual poker more real by having 3d players and tables. I was only able to play this game for about 5 minutes before I had to jump ship, and glue the game case shut for all eternity. 2 Star Review World Championship Poker

Strengths:

Online multiplayer

Weaknesses:

Weak computer AI, graphics aren't the greatest

Posted Apr 3, 2006 - World Championship Poker for the Xbox is a decent game if you are going to play online against other players. Other than that, I really can't recommend this game for people that are planning to play by themselves. The computer players make very stupid plays and the graphics in this game are borderline at best. If you are just looking for a cheap game to play against your friends online, give it a try, but with all the other poker games out there, there has to be something better for solo players.
