Take command of "The Ghosts," an elite squad of military personnel equipped with the cutting edge in weaponry. Whenever there is military conflict, the Ghosts are the first on the ground.
Russia has fallen under the control of ultra nationalistic politicians intent on rebuilding the Iron Curtain. This leads to conflict with NATO as Russia attempts to reclaim the breakaway Republic of Georgia and the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
As the war escalates, casualties mount, hostages are taken and the Ghosts are sent in.

Strengths:
Great graphics. Movement is smooth. Online play. AI play well.
Weaknesses:
Online play tends to get lag occasionally during gameplay. Too many glitches in the game.
Posted Aug 4, 2003 - I think it is a great game to have. A must have. The graphics are good and the movement during offline play are smooth. Online play tends to be sometimes laggy, but all in all good play. Great military action game with plenty of action. Love this game.

Strengths:
great military accuracy, wonderful environments.
Weaknesses:
no varying settings
Posted Jul 7, 2003 - This game is truly one of the best on the XBOX right now and should be for awhile. Great online play that rivals Sony's SOCOM and that truly triumps over it. If you are looking for real strategy with shooter elements, then this is the game.
