Story line and everything else
Posted Jun 26, 2005 - This game does have excellent graphics. The problem is that's pretty much all it has going for it. The story line to this game is lame, and cliched. It's unfortunate too, because the Xbox needs more good RPGs.
Syberia (Xbox)(1) Provides a different experience as opposed to typical console game (2) Interesting story (3) Unique art style gives world and environments a feeling that they could really exist
(1) Slow, plodding, aged gameplay is not for everyone (2) Will look messed up on HDTVs unless you disable 1080i and 720p HD settings on XBOX (can leave 420p on)
Posted Oct 28, 2005 - Syberia's gameplay harkens back to Adventure games, such as Sierra's King's Quest and Space Quest series. While this genre has seen it's popularity soar in the PC market years ago, it has rarely been brought to home consoles. As such, this game is really for a certain type of gamer. It is more of a slower paced, interactive story where you move through a very linear path, accomplishing simple tasks and solving simple puzzles.
